You may have heard the old adage, "Jack of all trades - master of none." This expression applies to David... sort of. He is, in fact, a jack of all trades, yet in contrast to the words of the proverb, he has mastered a number of crafts. He is a licensed architect, an accomplished GDL, CBL, LISP, and VB programmer, an adroit multimedia and digital artist, experienced land developer, and an adept trainer/teacher.

Prior to his current focus on technology, he worked as an architect and project architect/manager in the Midwest and Texas. His experience includes work on healthcare, assisted-living, correctional, collegiate, religious, public, industrial, laboratory, commercial, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, single-family and multi-family residential projects. In parallel with his architectural career, he headed a team to acquire and transform an undeveloped parcel of land in downtown Houston into townhomes.

Since 1997, David has built his technology career. Bringing his previous employers to the technological forefront of the architectural profession, spearheading several advancements, including the conversion of office CAD platforms from conventional 2D drafting to BIM technology using ARCHICAD and the creation of in-house Visualization Departments. Internationally renowned in his field, having been published in many professional journals and publications and regularly invited to speak at related functions. One of a few in the world who is certified as an independent GRAPHISOFT Registered Consultant and currently consulting with companies requiring his BIM expertise.
